Okay, so it's not the most politically-correct headline... And, it's sad when someone dies so young of a drug overdose. If you read some of the content regarding his rise to fame, it almost seems like he was destined for this fate. He, himself, claimed that his fame was strewn upon him, and he was 'manufactured', much like Britney, et al.

I feel sorry for his family, and for him, and for the entertainment industry for doing this to our fellow man.

Will you let a celebrity endorsement sway your vote in the upcoming presidential election? Do you give a fiddler's fart who certain celebrities vote for? If so, you'll be offended by the rest of this post, so go back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Many celebrities in this country seem to think you not only care who they'll vote for, but think you're going to follow suit. This bothers me as much as the ballot guides I blogged about on bloggerparty a while back.

The final 2 were Helio (Indianapolis 500 champ) and Mel B (Spice Girl). Helio won!! I still wish Sabrina was in the finals. I was very disappointed with this years dancing skills.. or lack there of.

Food network purges Emeril Live. That show had been on the air for 10 years. Food Network will still be producing his Essence of Emeril show for now and will be looking for other ways to incorporate him into other specials. Emeril's response? "I have lots of new ideas cooking."

Kevin Dubrow vocalist for Quiet Riot was found dead at his home in Las Vegas on Sunday.
Kevin Dubrow who was 52 started the heavy metal band which was renamed Quiet Riot in 1980.
The band has not yet issued an official statement but they have asked fans not to speculate on the matter.
